Another new hair oil I got to try…thanks to Beauty Boxes once again. I have tried not many Argan Oil products…so whenever I get to try and use one…I am always ready.
My Findings and Experiences on PYT ARGAN OIL Treatment:
Here is how PYT ARGAN OIL Treatment is described:
The Argan Oil treatment penetrates the hair follicle leaving it nourished, healthy and frizz free. Safe for color treated hair.
The Oil Treatment enriched with Argan Oil provides nourishment and deep hydration for hair in a non-greasy formula resulting in a strong and healthy hair folicle. The nourishing formula prevents split ends and creates instant shine without leaving an oily residue.
Argan Oil, derived from the Argan nut tree native to Morocco, is a rich source of antioxidants for strengthening and repairing, Vitamin E for moisturizing, and Unsaturated fatty acids like Omega 3 and 9 for improving elasticity and preventing split ends. Safe for color treated hair.
Directions: Apply a dime-size amount of serum into palms. Use more or less depending on hair length and thickness. Rub hands together and distribute evenly throughout hair. Style as desired.
To start with packaging…This comes in a dark colored small bottle. Argan Oil healing properties are effected when exposed to light…and a dark colored bottle helps. The oil itself is golden yellow in color and this smells like cologne.
This is definitely not pure Argan Oil…which you can tell by looking at the ingredient list and even by smelling it. Pure oil should only have oil with no preservatives or anything else to it. Moreover pure one smells a bit nutty.
Coming to this oil…the first distinctive thing is the smell…which I did not liked much for oil. Then the texture…this is thicker in texture but it did get absorbed pretty easily and quickly.
I tried it on my damp hair and it added a nice shine to them. I even tried it on my daughter’s hair to reduce any flyaway…and it did help in a lot with it. I like the part that the oil gets absorbed easily and leaves behind a nice shine. Since it absorbs pretty easily…washing it off is not a big task.
I prefer using it to add shine to my hair and tokeep flyaway at bay. It is on the pricier side..and is one of the reason I will always rethink on to if I want to repurchase. The fragrance being another reason in this aspect.
Final take on PYT ARGAN OIL Treatment:
My final thought about it has always been neutral. I like the oil…but then am not mad about it at the same time. The price point as well makes me rethink if I want to get more.
